⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️672 ppIt’s always a delight to sit down with a Lindsay Buroker story。I’ve jumped into this series at the end of the cycle， as a favour to a friend。 At some point， I will absolutely go back and read the rest。 Even knowing the end won’t steal the pleasure of having read another well-written tale with plenty of swagger and derring-do。Snappy dialogue is easily my favorite part of reading Lindsay’s stories。 Even in the midst of dire circumstances， her characters can usually be counted upon t ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️672 ppIt’s always a delight to sit down with a Lindsay Buroker story。I’ve jumped into this series at the end of the cycle， as a favour to a friend。 At some point， I will absolutely go back and read the rest。 Even knowing the end won’t steal the pleasure of having read another well-written tale with plenty of swagger and derring-do。Snappy dialogue is easily my favorite part of reading Lindsay’s stories。 Even in the midst of dire circumstances， her characters can usually be counted upon to lighten the situation。 Also， to leer lustily if there’s any romantic attraction。The world-building is rather astounding here， as it doesn’t just contain one planet， but many。 There’s magic， and lots of it， to go along with cartography， microscopes and bacterial cultures。 The characters include dragons who absolutely steal the show。 Totally adore Sikari and Yoshartov。 My favorite quote of the book … “Hello， servants！” The humans have enough stuff thrown at them to keep you guessing as to whether they’ll survive or wander around， bereft of their soulmate。 As always， the plot is tight， the action is actiony and the people are your favourites。 。。。more
